Who is this automation for?
In the USA, currently sales tax is only collected if shipping items to places within the same state where you have physical locations.
If you have a location in Virginia, you only collect sales tax from those that buy within your state. You then have to submit those sales taxes to your state.
This automation is right for you, if you have to manually tag all customers who make a purchase from your state to be able to sort out sale taxes for quarterly submission.
How it works?
The automation conditions should be
- If 1: order is created
- If 2: order has sales tax
Then tag the customers with {{tag provided by the App user}} ( if the customers have the same tag, they will not be tagged again)
