How to create an automation to tag customer as VIP after they spent more?

You could achieve this by creating an automation to tag the customer as "VIP" after they spend a defined amount of money cumulatively. Here is the step by step guide,

1. Create a new rule by clicking the "Create New Automation" button in the App
2. Define the conditions
1. Select the condition "A Customer has made an order" from the dropdown
2. Click the "Add Condition" button
3. Select the "customer lifetime total spent reached" from the dropdown as the 2nd condition
4. Input the money amount, we use 1000 as an example. In this case, if the customer spent over $1000 cumulatively, then it will be considered as a VIP customer
3. Define the actions
1. Select action "tag customer with" from the dropdown
2. Input the tag to segment the customer, we use "VIP" in this example.
4. Save the setup, and you could see the automation is shown up in the automation list.
5. Click the "see logs", you will see the details of each run
